1. Returns & Refunds Eligibility

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws and standard industry practices, customers may request a refund within:

  • 14 days of purchase for unused or non-activated products.
  • 30 days of purchase if the product is defective and cannot be activated despite support.

A refund may be approved in the following cases:

  • The customer no longer wishes to use the product (within 14 days).
  • The product cannot be activated.
  • The product received is not as described.
  • Technical issues prevent activation or proper access to the software.

2. Activation Policy

Activating the product does not automatically remove your right to request a refund within 14 days if the product is defective or not as described.

Refunds are not granted for successfully activated licenses unless the product is defective or not as described, in accordance with EU consumer rights.


3. How to Request a Refund

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used at checkout.


4. Diagnostic & Replacement Procedure

If you report a defective or non-working license:

  1. Our technical team will run a diagnosis and provide troubleshooting within 24 hours.
  2. If the issue cannot be resolved, we will offer:
    • A replacement license, or
    • A full refund, according to your preference.

Defective licenses are verified using a Microsoft PID Checker or other authorized validation tools.


5. Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval.


6. Important Conditions (When Refunds Cannot Be Approved)

A refund or replacement request will not be approved if:

  • Refunds may not be approved if the license has been successfully activated and verified as fully functional, unless the product is defective or not as described.
  • You decline troubleshooting or assistance from our technical support team.
  • The request is submitted more than 30 days after the original purchase.
  • The issue is due to:
    • Customer-side device or system problems, or
    • Software incompatibility (the customer is responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase).

All licenses sold by NextDigitalKey are intended for one PC only, unless otherwise specified.

NextDigitalKey assumes no responsibility for local computer issues preventing proper installation or operation.
